Women's Conference (Aug 23rd) — Martha Peace

On Aug. 23, the Center for Biblical Counseling at Southern Seminary is hosting a women’s biblical counseling conference. Author and biblical counselor Martha Peace will address anxiety, depression and discipleship. The conference is open to all women. View the brochure.

Peace is the co-author with SBTS professor Stuart Scott of the recently-released “The Faithful Parent: A Biblical Guide to Raising a Family.” She is also the co-author of “Tying the Knot Tighter” and the author of “Damsels in Distress” and “The Excellent Wife.”

Martha Peace is a teacher and exhorter. She worked for eight years as a biblical counselor at the Atlanta Biblical Counseling Center where she counseled women, children, and teenagers. She teaches counseling classes and counsels in her church’s Certified Counselor Training Center. For the past several years she has presented workshops on various biblical counseling issues for women at the national conference for N.A.N.C. Martha has authored a workbook, and books entitled

The Excellent Wife, The Study Guide to The Excellent Wife, Becoming a Titus 2
Woman, Tying the Knot Tighter (co-authored with her Pastor, John Crotts), Damsels In Distress, and (June 2010) a parenting book co-authored with Stuart Scott The Faithful Parent.
